OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE introduces a new coaching series to transform your auditions: TOP 3
Everyone’s got ‘em. Those three, old reliable songs that you sing at every audition. So why shouldn’t your Top 3 really be in top shape? On Tuesday, March 13, OTHER SIDE OF THE TABLE is offering a limited number of coaching slots, aimed at making the songs you've sung a hundred times exciting and
brand new. How do you discover new things every time you walk into the room? Where are the beats in your performance that will make directors and music directors thrilled? Where is the emotional space in the song that
you have yet to explore?
Travis Greisler, Chris Kong, and Austin Regan, audition coaches and the creators of “Art of the Callback”, want to tune up your audition book and make those three songs shine. As a team, they provide a comprehensive coaching experience that leaves no stone unturned in your audition (be it dramatic,
musical, or personal) in the pursuit of you doing the best work you are capable of, all the time. A single new perspective on your work is useful -- but why not get the TOP 3?
Slots are available in the afternoon or evening of 3/13/12, at $75 for a half-hour or $140 for an hour. Contact othersideofthetable@gmail.com to reserve a time.

THE ART OF THE CALLBACK – a 5 week workshop that details the audition process from first audition through final callback.
So many audition classes focus on the initial stages of an actor's job hunt, the first audition, but what do you do the second time you come in with material from the show? How do you make the choices that the creative teams want to see? How do you stand out and make the character your own?
THE ART OF THE CALLBACK is an opportunity to perfect your callback skills and get feedback from the people that really end up making the casting decisions...the directors.
During the five weeks, Austin and Travis, along with music director Chris Kong (frequent audition pianist for Telsey + Company and Tara Rubin Casting) will guide you through the process from first audition to final callback for a role in a musical that is on Broadway, on tour, or done in major regional houses right now, tailoring the experience to you as an individual. Participants in the class will get the experience they need preparing and presenting songs, sides, and their own material, while being given the invaluable resource of director-centric feedback. Real audition experience is combined with the discussion of what really goes on from the other side of the table to give you the knowledge you need, but seldom have access to.
In the two years since THE ART OF THE CALLBACK was created, our students have gone on to play leads in shows in New York and major regional theaters, and be cast in major national tours, television shows, and even on Broadway. We want to revitalize you and give you the tools to prepare for and to nail every audition.
Class meets for five Tuesdays at A.R.T. Space at 520 8th Avenue in midtown from 7-10pm starting February 7th.
For the price of just $360 you will partake in a one of a kind experience tailored to you as an individual performer, giving you the tools you need to nail your musical theater callbacks and get the job. Class size is severely limited to ensure that each performer gets ample individual attention from the instructor, so sign up today!
