"This class has opened my eyes not only to the perspective of the creative team, but to how I approach an audition. Travis and Austin have helped me to get out of my own way and make bold choices, lose my insecurities, and change my view of the audition itself. I have not only seen the difference in my auditions and callbacks, but in how I prepare for the auditions beforehand. I highly recommend this class! It is essential for any seasoned actor, or someone new to the city...I wish I had all this information when I first started!"

"I signed up for this class earlier this year because I had become very disenchanted with the audition process over the past several years. My fears regarding my type, my look, and my ability to be cast in various projects had gradually taken over my focus when entering the room. Through the class, I was able to focus on the things that I could be in control of and move forward in a very positive way. Austin and Travis stressed the importance of showing the creatives and casting people who I am as opposed to who I think that they want. This was accomplished with encouragement, instruction, and input that made me really dissect the choices that I was making when I entered the room. I would fully advise any actor who wants to improve how well they audition, and as a result how they perform, to work with these guys."

"The Art of the Callback gave me back the confidence I had lost after attending literally hundreds of auditions. Before this class, I found myself going into rooms unfocused and unsure of my objectives and leaving auditions dissatisfied, knowing I could do better work. Austin and Travis helped me rediscover my creative goals as an actor, look at the material I was bringing into auditions from a fresh and exciting perspective, and remember why I was going to all of these auditions in the first place. I learned to enjoy the work I did in the audition room and put my genuine self in front of the casting table. I credit this class with giving me the tools to walk into a room and book a job, and shortly after attending I landed the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Arvada Center. I could not have done this without The Art of the Callback."

"The Art of the Callback is an amazing class and experience for NUMEROUS reasons. When I first moved to the city, auditioning was one of the scariest experiences for me. I can perform in front of thousands of people any day of the week, but you put me in a small room, with poor acoustics, horrible fluorescent lighting, and a table with a couple of people behind it "judging" me, I freaked out. Taking THE ART OF THE CALLBACK ended up being the smartest move I've made since moving to the city. Austin and Travis are positive, fun, energetic, and intelligent and create a safe comfortable environment for you to grow in. They have a fresh way of approaching not only the material, but auditioning overall. Since I have taken their class, I now "own the room" the moment I enter. It’s my performance and my opportunity to show my interpretation of the role. I am now confident, I make bold choices, and I can handle anything that is thrown at me, but mostly, I HAVE FUN!!!!! Shocking, huh? Because of Austin, Travis, and Chris...I booked the National Tour of 9-5 THE MUSICAL (Missy Hart/Judy Understudy), and I just recently booked the Off-Broadway show RATED P FOR PARENTHOOD performing at the West Side Theatre starting February 8th. I will take their class anytime and every time I can! It will push your career forward...I promise!"

"Austin, Travis, and Chris created a very safe environment in which to explore and work. Unlike most workshops, the majority of the sessions focused on reading for one role, giving us a chance to 'rehearse' the callback situation, instead of just working on 16 or 32 bars of music.
Feedback was always insightful and helped to build confidence, and we were also given feedback from Chris on the best ways to approach and work with an accompanist. I am currently playing one of my long-time dream roles, having taken what I learned in THE ART OF THE CALLBACK and applied it in my real callbacks."
